METALCON is the national trade show and conference devoted to metal construction: roofing and wall panels, framing, fabrication equipment, roll formers, fasteners, coatings and underlayments, and the education that goes with them. The 2026 show in Orlando was the 35th edition.
METALCON 2027 runs October 26 to 28, 2027, at the Kentucky International Convention Center in Louisville, Kentucky. That is about three weeks after the Construction Rollforming Show in Cincinnati, so a fabricator who wants both can plan one fall travel budget around them.
Who goes: metal roofing and wall panel installers, fabricators and panel shops, roll former owners, architects and specifiers, general contractors who self-perform metal, and the manufacturers, equipment builders and distributors who sell to them.
What a metal roofer or fabricator gets out of it: the education program is the reason we would send a crew lead, and coverage of the 2026 show singled it out. The floor is where roll formers, seamers, brakes and hand tools can be run and compared, and where panel and coil suppliers are all in one place.
