The Find a Metal Roofer network is the group of companies listed in this directory: installers, fabricators, manufacturers, suppliers, roll former dealers and consultants who work in metal roofing. Joining is free, there is no contract, and your listing belongs to you.
Who can join
Any legitimate business that works in metal roofing in the United States can list. Pick the type that fits; a company can choose more than one.
- Installers put metal roofs on houses, barns and commercial buildings, from one-crew shops to regional companies.
- Fabricators run roll formers and brakes to make panels, trim and custom architectural metal, for their own crews or for other contractors.
- Manufacturers make panels, shingles, coatings, fasteners, underlayment, clips or accessories and want installers and homeowners to find their lines and dealers.
- Suppliers stock coil, panels, trim, fasteners, sealants and tools for the trade.
- Roll former dealers sell, rent and service portable and shop roll forming machines.
- Consultants inspect, specify, estimate or train in metal roofing.
What it costs
Nothing. A listing is free to create and free to keep. We do not charge for placement, we do not sell leads, and search results are ordered by how well a company matches the homeowner’s location and filters, never by payment. Homeowners who use the quote request form on your listing reach you directly, and the message is yours.
What a listing shows
A listing is a full profile page at its own address, and it is built to answer the questions homeowners ask before they call:
- Company name, logo and a one-line tagline.
- An about section in your own words, your services, and the company types you choose.
- The roof styles and metals you work with, and the markets you serve: residential, commercial, agricultural, industrial or historic.
- Your service area and radius on a map, plus street address, phone, email and website.
- Year founded, license number, whether you are insured, crew size and hours.
- Photos of your work, a video if you have one, and links to your social pages.
- Homeowner reviews, your responses, and the Verified badge once we have confirmed your contact.
Every listing also links to its state and city pages and to the guides for the styles you install, so homeowners reading about standing seam in your state can find you from the guide.
Adding your company
- Create a free account on the join page and choose the pro option.
- Fill in the listing form contact details, address, service radius, company types, styles, metals, markets and an about section written for homeowners, not search engines.
- We review new listings before they go live to confirm the company is a real metal roofing business and the listing follows the guidelines. You get an email when it is published or if something needs a fix.
- Once published, your edits go live right away, and we are notified so we can spot-check them.
Ready now? Start at Add your company. Read the listing guidelines first; the short version is one listing per location, accurate details, photos you own and no keyword stuffing.
Claim an existing listing
Some companies are already in the directory because we added them from public business information. If you find your company and nobody owns the listing yet, use the claim link on the listing page or start at Claim a listing. We confirm the claim with the business, usually by calling the number on the listing or emailing an address at the company’s domain, and then move the listing to your account. A claimed and confirmed listing gets the Verified badge, and you can edit it, add photos and respond to reviews from your account page.
Reviews and owner responses
Reviews come from customers with a free account. Each customer can leave one review per company, every review is held for a moderator before it appears, and we publish positive and negative reviews alike as long as they follow the review guidelines. You are notified when a review is published on your listing.
You can post a public response to any review. It appears under the review, labeled as the response from the owner, so homeowners see both sides. The responses that help you most are calm, factual and short. Never share a customer’s private details, never offer anything in exchange for changing a review, and never review your own company or a competitor. If you believe a review breaks the guidelines, report it from the listing and a moderator will look at it. We do not remove a review because it is negative.
The Verified badge and the website badge
Verified on a listing means we have confirmed the business contact: we reached you at the phone number or email on the listing and confirmed you speak for the company. It is not a license check or a quality rating, and we say so to homeowners. Published listings can also display a Find a Metal Roofer badge on your own website and in your bid packets. It links back to your listing so customers can read your reviews, and it says you are listed, nothing more; please do not describe it as an endorsement.
The Weekly Metal
