METALCON is the national trade show and conference devoted to metal construction, from roofing and wall panels to framing, fabrication equipment and the fasteners, coatings and underlayments that go with them. It is produced by PSMJ Resources with the Metal Construction Association as its partner show. The 2026 edition marked the show’s 35th anniversary.
METALCON 2026 ran October 7 to 9, 2026, at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida, with a day of pre-show workshops on October 6.
Who goes: metal roofing and wall panel installers, fabricators and panel shop owners, roll former operators, architects and specifiers, general contractors who self-perform metal, and the manufacturers, equipment builders and distributors who sell to all of them.
What a metal roofer or fabricator gets out of it: the education program, which coverage of the 2026 show singled out; a floor where roll formers, seamers, brakes and hand tools can be run and compared side by side; direct conversations with panel and coil suppliers; and a read on where residential metal is heading, which the 2026 coverage called one of the fastest-growing segments in the industry.
