Westlake Royal Building Products has acquired the assets of Metal Center, including three facilities, and will use them to enter standing seam metal roofing under its Unified Steel brand. The move takes a company already known to roofers for stone-coated steel and other exterior products into standing seam, a growing part of the residential metal market.
Details on profiles, gauges, paint systems, distribution and warranty terms had not been published when the deal was announced.
